   actor
   Born in vesoul, Edwige Feuillère (stage name of Edwige Cunati) made her debut under the name of Cora Lynn at the comédie-française (1931-32). she became famous for her sense of discipline and fine voice and acting in La Dame aux camélias (by Alexandre dumas, fils), Sodome et Gomorrhe (1943), and Pour Lucrèce (1947). she created and interpreted the role of the queen in jean cocteau's L'Aigle a deux têtes (The Eagle Has Two Heads; 1946), the character of Ysé in paul claudel's Partage de midi, and the title roles in Giraudoux's La Folle de Chaillot (The Mad Woman of Chaillot; 1965), and in Durrenmatt's La Visite de la vieille dame (The Visit; 1976). In cinema, she took on, during the 1940s, comedic roles (Adorable creatures, 1952). She was made a member of the legion of honor in 1990.
